v1.0.0 First stable Mac release. This build is notarized, and later test builds stay off the stable update feed. Shipped 15 Oct 2026 · Full changelog · Download for Mac Added Stable updates — this install follows the stable feed. Test builds use their own feed. Recovery key — Continuity asks for the key in the app when this Mac does not have it yet. Fixed Projects and settings — a damaged save is kept aside instead of being replaced with an empty list. Sidebar — Active projects lists what is actually running or has failed. Env files — filling from an example only adds the missing lines. Remote start — a command from another device can only run the script already chosen on this Mac. Removed Nothing Posted by Rig when this build hit userig.app/changelog. Feedback welcome in Bugs / Feature ideas — private tickets still go to Support.

v1.0.0-rc.5.10 You can stop Cloud from storing folder-name hints for your projects. Shipped 13 Oct 2026 · Full changelog · Download for Mac Added Sync project metadata — in Cloud settings, on by default. Off clears the last two folder names from Cloud. The full path stays on this Mac. Fixed Nothing Removed Nothing Posted by Rig when this build hit userig.app/changelog. Feedback welcome in Bugs / Feature ideas — private tickets still go to Support.

v1.0.0-rc.5.9 Live Link and a phone on the same Wi-Fi can open a local HTTPS app, including one with a self-signed certificate. Shipped 12 Oct 2026 · Full changelog · Download for Mac Added LAN preview — the QR code is an http address on your Wi-Fi when the project URL is https://*.rig.localhost or localhost Privacy — Settings lists what leaves the Mac, with a local-only switch Agent history — a project journal, checkpoints, and recent agent activity on that project Fixed Live Link — the Mac reaches a local app that uses a self-signed certificate Phone preview — page and WordPress URLs that pointed at *.rig.localhost are rewritten onto the LAN address Health check — *.localhost and a self-signed loopback certificate count as up Removed Nothing Posted by Rig when this build hit userig.app/changelog. Feedback welcome in Bugs / Feature ideas — private tickets still go to Support.

v1.0.0-rc.5.8 An MCP write stays open until you click Approve in Rig, then that same call finishes. Shipped 4 Oct 2026 · Full changelog · Download for Mac Added Approval detail — the card names the script, port, branch, snapshot, or message before you approve Fixed Approve — clicking Approve finishes the tool call that is already waiting. You do not have to tell the agent to try again Menu bar — an approval brings Rig forward when it is hidden in the menu bar Database restore and env fill — those wait for Approve as well. confirm=true does not approve them Stale MCP configs — hub start rewrites a linked project file even when it still points at an old port Other editors — the copied MCP snippet is the wake command, not the HTTP URL Removed Nothing Posted by Rig when this build hit userig.app/changelog. Feedback welcome in Bugs / Feature ideas — private tickets still go to Support.

v1.0.0-rc.5.7 MCP editors start Rig when it is quit, and a write waits for a click in Rig. Shipped 4 Oct 2026 · Full changelog · Download for Mac Added Workspace setup — linking a folder reports a stopped server, missing env keys, a missing runtime, or no start script, with Fill env, Install runtime, Choose a script, and Start on the card Approval — start, stop, git, and the other confirmed MCP actions wait until Approve is clicked in Rig. Calling the tool again with confirm=true does not approve it Fixed MCP timeout — Cursor, Claude, VS Code, Windsurf, Copilot, OpenCode, Pi, and Codex use a command that starts the hub. A slow tool call is no longer treated as Rig being quit Project configs — hub start rewrites linked MCP files in each project, not only the user-level config Removed Nothing Posted by Rig when this build hit userig.app/changelog. Feedback welcome in Bugs / Feature ideas — private tickets still go to Support.

v1.0.0-rc.5.6 Homebrew in Settings, plus Mac runtime bootstrap when a project pins a language and no version manager is installed yet. Shipped 1 Oct 2026 · Full changelog · Download for Mac Added Homebrew — Settings → Homebrew on Mac shows what is outdated, searches formulae and casks, and installs, upgrades, or removes only after you confirm Runtime bootstrap — a pinned Node, PHP, or Python version can install mise (via Homebrew or the official installer) and that version when nvm, fnm, asdf, and Herd are not present Fixed Menu bar — with Hide to menu bar on, the yellow minimise button leaves Rig in the menu bar instead of the Dock White-label domains — DNS status distinguishes a certificate that still needs setup from one Railway is still issuing Removed Nothing Posted by Rig when this build hit userig.app/changelog. Feedback welcome in Bugs / Feature ideas — private tickets still go to Support.

Feedback welcome in Bugs / Feature ideas — private tickets still go to Support.

Shipped 14 Sept 2026 · Full changelog · Download for Mac Added Cloud billing gate — grace banner and suspended sheet when Cloud/Mesh is paused for unpaid invoices; local process control stays available Open billing — Manage / Update payment opens https://api.userig.app/account/dashboard#billing Fixed Billing URL fallbacks — desktop no longer points at billing.userig.app; Cloud Billing is the account dashboard #billing hash Mesh 402 handling — suspended Cloud returns a clear billing URL and blocked payload instead of a generic auth error Removed Nothing Posted by Rig when this build hit userig.app/changelog. Feedback welcome in Bugs / Feature ideas — private tickets still go to Support.

v1.0.0-rc.1 First release candidate. Connect setup is guided end-to-end; Screen refuses until the target is ready; notifications are branded and actionable. Shipped 5 Sept 2026 · Full changelog · Download for Mac Added Connect-ready wizard — login password → admin prompt → Accessibility, with Open Settings and live detection Screen setup blocker — refuses Screen until the target reports Connect-ready + unlock password + Accessibility; shows a “Finish setup on that Mac” guide Peer readiness heartbeats — connectReady, unlock, and Accessibility flags synced via Cloud so the viewer can gate Screen Branded Notification Center alerts — lime RIG app icon (no Electron atom); titles prefixed with Rig One-tap crash resolution — port clash / deps / DB banners say what to do; tap frees the port (or runs the fix) and restarts Fixed Port extraction — 127.0.0.1:8080 style EADDRINUSE lines resolve to the real port, not 127 Screen auth path — no silent VNC-password fallback that caused “Authentication failed” Removed Nothing Posted by Rig when this build hit userig.app/changelog. Feedback welcome in Bugs / Feature ideas — private tickets still go to Support.

v1.0.0-beta.99 Passwordless Screen requires the Connect-ready unlock password and an unlocked desktop when possible. Shipped 5 Sept 2026 · Full changelog · Download for Mac Added Nothing Fixed Screen auth at lock screen — no more silent VNC-password fallback (that caused “Authentication failed”). Screen grants now require the Connect-ready unlock password (Mac login), try to unlock the console first, and fail with a clear message if the Mac stays locked or Accessibility is missing Removed Nothing Posted by Rig when this build hit userig.app/changelog. Feedback welcome in Bugs / Feature ideas — private tickets still go to Support.

v1.0.0-beta.98 Passwordless Screen uses the Mac login (Connect-ready unlock password), not the VNC display password. Shipped 5 Sept 2026 · Full changelog · Download for Mac Added Nothing Fixed Screen “Authentication failed” — macOS Screen Sharing.app authenticates as a Mac user, not with the VNC viewer password. Connect now brokers the console username + Connect-ready unlock password when set. Without that unlock password, Screen asks you to set it instead of stuffing the wrong secret into Keychain Removed Nothing Posted by Rig when this build hit userig.app/changelog. Feedback welcome in Bugs / Feature ideas — private tickets still go to Support.

v1.0.0-beta.97 Screen auth matches macOS’s 8-character VNC password limit. Shipped 4 Sept 2026 · Full changelog · Download for Mac Added Nothing Fixed SSO Screen “Authentication failed” — legacy VNC passwords are max 8 chars; older Connect-ready setups stored 24 and Screen Sharing rejected them. Now generate/upload/open with 8 chars, migrate long secrets on the next admin grant, and clear stale Keychain VNC entries for that host before opening Removed Nothing Posted by Rig when this build hit userig.app/changelog. Feedback welcome in Bugs / Feature ideas — private tickets still go to Support.

v1.0.0-beta.96 Passwordless Screen uses the VNC display password correctly — not a Mac user login. Shipped 4 Sept 2026 · Full changelog · Download for Mac Added Nothing Fixed SSO Screen auth — Connect grants use the VNC legacy display password with an empty username. Sending the console username made macOS treat it as account login (Authentication failed), even after the grant succeeded Removed Nothing Posted by Rig when this build hit userig.app/changelog. Feedback welcome in Bugs / Feature ideas — private tickets still go to Support.

v1.0.0-beta.95 Screen Connect grants now include the console username so SSO sign-in is complete. Shipped 4 Sept 2026 · Full changelog · Download for Mac Added Nothing Fixed SSO Screen username — grant credential upload now sends the Mac console user (not an empty username), so Screen Sharing can complete passwordless sign-in after the device-id header fix in beta.94 Removed Nothing Posted by Rig when this build hit userig.app/changelog. Feedback welcome in Bugs / Feature ideas — private tickets still go to Support.

v1.0.0-beta.91 Connect no longer treats “Cloud online” as “on the overlay,” and Wake stops lying about FileVault. Shipped 4 Sept 2026 · Full changelog · Download for Mac Added Nothing Fixed Cloud only ≠ Wake — when a Mac is online in Cloud but missing from this Mac’s overlay, Rig offers Connect (waits + soft rejoin), not Wake Connect overlay wait — up to ~45s for the peer; soft mesh.rejoin on the target (no keyless --reset); clearer “Online in Cloud — not on the overlay yet” error Wake FileVault banner — only when actually at the lock screen, not merely because FileVault is enabled SSO degraded UI — manual Screen Sharing fallback when the grant does not finish (from beta.90 follow-up) Removed Nothing Posted by Rig when this build hit userig.app/changelog. Feedback welcome in Bugs / Feature ideas — private tickets still go to Support.
