MCP editors start Rig when it is quit, and a write waits for a click in Rig.

- Workspace setup — linking a folder reports a stopped server, missing env keys, a missing runtime, or no start script, with Fill env, Install runtime, Choose a script, and Start on the card
- Approval — start, stop, git, and the other confirmed MCP actions wait until Approve is clicked in Rig. Calling the tool again with confirm=true does not approve it
Fixed
- MCP timeout — Cursor, Claude, VS Code, Windsurf, Copilot, OpenCode, Pi, and Codex use a command that starts the hub. A slow tool call is no longer treated as Rig being quit
- Project configs — hub start rewrites linked MCP files in each project, not only the user-level config
