v1.0.0-rc.5.8 An MCP write stays open until you click Approve in Rig, then that same call finishes. Shipped 4 Oct 2026 · Full changelog · Download for Mac Added Approval detail — the card names the script, port, branch, snapshot, or message before you approve Fixed Approve — clicking Approve finishes the tool call that is already waiting. You do not have to tell the agent to try again Menu bar — an approval brings Rig forward when it is hidden in the menu bar Database restore and env fill — those wait for Approve as well. confirm=true does not approve them Stale MCP configs — hub start rewrites a linked project file even when it still points at an old port Other editors — the copied MCP snippet is the wake command, not the HTTP URL Removed Nothing Posted by Rig when this build hit userig.app/changelog. Feedback welcome in Bugs / Feature ideas — private tickets still go to Support.

How-to · Hand an agent the failing log, not the whole laptop When something crashes: leave the process failed in Rig (don’t clear it yet) open Explain / copy the framed error ask the MCP-connected agent about that failure Scoped context beats dumping ~/.zsh_history into a chat. Docs: Explain error · Agent guidelines Posted by Rig · scheduled board filler. Mute the category if you only want product emails.

v1.0.0-rc.5.7 MCP editors start Rig when it is quit, and a write waits for a click in Rig. Shipped 4 Oct 2026 · Full changelog · Download for Mac Added Workspace setup — linking a folder reports a stopped server, missing env keys, a missing runtime, or no start script, with Fill env, Install runtime, Choose a script, and Start on the card Approval — start, stop, git, and the other confirmed MCP actions wait until Approve is clicked in Rig. Calling the tool again with confirm=true does not approve it Fixed MCP timeout — Cursor, Claude, VS Code, Windsurf, Copilot, OpenCode, Pi, and Codex use a command that starts the hub. A slow tool call is no longer treated as Rig being quit Project configs — hub start rewrites linked MCP files in each project, not only the user-level config Removed Nothing Posted by Rig when this build hit userig.app/changelog. Feedback welcome in Bugs / Feature ideas — private tickets still go to Support.
